Hampshire Mental health resources for primary age children

The emotional health and well being of children is just as important as their physical health, even more so during these challenging times. Good mental health and wellbeing will allow children and young people to develop the resilience to cope with whatever life throws their way and help them grow into well-rounded, healthy adults.

Mindful activities for children

Mindful activities can provide children with simple, practical ways to help them regulate their emotional state and focus their attention. When children practise focusing skills, they become more aware of their mind. The activities can help to provide children with the tools to focus their mind, calm down and reflect on a situation when they need to make a choice. Try some of these mindful activities - anyone at home can give them a go.
