French
At Woodlea Primary School we teach French as a modern foreign language.
We have chosen to teach MFL using the programme CGP as the units are well structured and based on the needs of the children. The programme has 24 units, which is divided into six units per year group and each unit build upon the next one.
The children start French in Key Stage 2 and it is taught from Year 3 through Year 6. Each year group has a teacher book with a detailed explanation what children will learn. The units are closely linked to each other.
